AT&T U-verse TV customers in Houston now have access to a new Weather In Demand Service, the company announced in a press release.
Weather on Demand is an interactive feature that allows U-verse TV customers to find the weather information they want, in the city they want, at the time they want — all at the touch of a button. Weather data is supplied by AccuWeather.com.
This new feature is available at no extra charge. By using Internet protocol U-Verse is capable of adding and rolling out new services easily.
Here is how it works:
U-Verse Users can access weather information by tuning to Channel 227 and:
- View current local weather conditions, including high/low temperatures, humidity, wind and visibilit.
- Get local and nationwide forecasts, including hourly and 6-day outlooks.
- Access animated national and local radar imagery, as well as satellite views.
- Watch current videos of meteorologists presenting the local weather news.
